SUMMARY:Bowling for a Cause
DESCRIPTION:$30 per player gets you 3 games of 9 pin no tap bowling\, shoes\, large pizza\, and entry into the various bowling games such as mystery\, lucky strike\, etc.  Teams can be 4 or 5 players a lane. We will also have raffle prizes and cash raffle.  So come bowl\, spend some money for the cause and after you’re done\, come to the lounge and have a couple cocktails as we draw for raffle prizes.  All proceeds from this event will be split this year be decided by The Crosshairs Foundation this year. Prior organizations receiving donations are Spike’s K9 Fund\, Blue Line K9 Project\, and PLEA Foundation. \nWill the Detroit Honor Guard team win the trophy this year? Come and play\, have fun\, and win some great prizes. It’s not a Crosshairs event without the big screen TV raffle and custom made corn hole boards just for this event.

Patrick O’Rourke\nSgt. O’Rourke was a revered officer with the West Bloomfield Police Department for 12 years\, whom provided service in so many wonderful ways throughout his career. Patrick was a loving and giving father and husband. He was a great friend all around. It is with this outing that we are hoping to continue his love for the job\, life\, and the community. Sgt. O’Rourke loved to have fun and have a great time with friends and family\, but he always made time to support those who needed it most. Like Sgt. O’Rourke\, there are many heroes in our community that dedicate their life to the service of others. This scholarship is intended to help provide financial support toward education for an individual that desires to serve their community in the field of Public Safety. This scholarship will be awarded each year to a deserving student hoping to enter the field of Law Enforcement. \nPatrick’s parents\, Dan and Arlene\, have become a driving force in the scholarship program and selection. It is with honor and pride that we contribute to the scholarship fund the O’Rourke’s have created and maintained. \nThe Crosshairs Foundation also seeks to use a portion of the funds raised from this outing to go toward our continuing efforts to aid the victims of domestic violence and officers in Michigan. During the Christmas season\, we are looking to assist in comforting the victims of domestic violence by providing an atmosphere of peace and love and as a way to help ease the transition they are making toward a better life. In conjunction with a local domestic violence shelter\, we will discretely assist the victims and their children in hopes of providing them with a heart-felt and safe holiday season. We have assisted Honor Guard teams with paying tribute in Washington DC as well as the Michigan chapter of Concerns Of Police Survivors (MICops).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
