Sangeya Wiggins, Public Relations
Sangeya K. Wiggins was born in Flint, MI and is a graduate of Flint Southwestern Academy. Sangeya graduated from Oakland University in 1997 with a BS in Communications and a minor in Sociology. Sangeya received her Masters in Public Administration degree from Central Michigan University in 2002.
After graduation, she began working for Spectrum Human Services as a Social Worker for juvenile delinquents. After a period of two years, she began her career at Chrysler Financial as a customer service representative, quickly moving her way up to a supervisory level in customer service, operations, collections, and bankruptcy. She is currently in the Sales and Marketing Department at Chrysler Financial, where she is responsible for over 300 dealerships in ensuring their ability to do business with the financial institution.
In 1996, while in college, she became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, where she continues to play an active role in its advancement and its focus on serving the community. She is currently the Public Service Chairperson and has served as the 2nd Vice President, and has held many other roles in the chapter.
Her goal and inspiration in life is to help as many people in the world by giving her time, energy, and resource for the good of the community.
